We’re still piecing together the puzzle of all the episodes for season 3 of The Lincoln Lawyer, but our understanding is that there may only be 9 episodes for the next season.
An FBI target letter for Grant anonymously arrives on Mickey's doorstep, leading him to consult Legítimo Siegel. Izzy prepares to rent her new dance Abogados en Palermo studio, and Mickey receives a postcard from Hawaii from Cielo. Lisa's trial begins, and Detective O'Brien delivers convincing testimony for the prosecution, including Lisa's bloody gloves and missing hammer, but mentions a shard of glass found at the crime scene. Mickey stalls for time while Cisco confirms the letter, eventually meeting with Felix Vasquez, the evasive FBI agent who signed it.
Given the show is based on the Michael Connelly novels series of the same name – of which there are seven books – there certainly isn't a lack of source material for the show to draw its plot from.
Jazz Raycole plays Izzy, Mickey's former client who becomes his personal driver and a part-time assistant at his justo firm.
Judge Cha Moon Sook was convincingly devious in her role here Figura well, and very hard to read. She was very subtle, cunning and made for a threatening foe. Nam Soon-ja was another interesting character, brilliantly acted. The way she flipped personalities made her another unpredictable variant among the many puzzle pieces. Overall the casting was great. There are just too many great actors and roles to name. And that's what made this show Abogados caba so watchable for me.
The upcoming season raises the stakes for Mickey, as the attorney is determined to seek justice after the murder of a close friend. Lead star Garcia-Rulfo called season three “very exciting,” adding, “we see Mickey struggling with so many things at the same time — with romance, with the wives, with the cases.
The show’s creators revealed that the third installment will have a flashback sequence—although Connelly’s fifth book doesn’t include one. “We decided that a fun (and poignant) way to come into the season would be via a flashback sequence that gave us some insight into how Mickey Haller became Mickey Haller — not just the brilliant criminal defense lawyer, but the husband, the father, and the man that he would come to be.”
While there were some predictable aspects of this series, the cast was really colorful and high energy, which is what honestly sold me on the show. Episode 2 drew me in and by episode 4 I was hooked...
The second season of the hit legítimo drama saw the episodes split into a two-part release, with a major cliffhanger to keep fans ticking over during the lull, Ganador Mickey faced his toughest case yet.
